How do we connect other sensors to predix? e.g. particle based

How do you add a new sensor (e.g. particle based) that you develop to Predix? I don't see any information or demos of how to do this? I must be missing something. Not much fun if you can't add your own sensors to IoT...

    Hi Chris

    An edge device can connect directly to Predix as long as its running Predix Machine on it. There are several tutorials available on this topic in the Developer Resources section of www.predix.io. Just click on "edge" in the topics browser section.

    Is a Predix Machine available for the Particle? I see they are promotional partners for this hackathon

    You can send any sensor data to the Predix Cloud from Predix Machine. Predix Machine is software, so you can customize it to send any sensor data. It also supports standard Industrial protocols such as OPC/UA and ModBus.
