Pull up yer boots and check your sensors

You know Austin . . . the coolest city in Texas. Home of BBQ, craft brew, the best live music in the southwest, and . . . IoT conferences.

Yep, from June 13 - 15, the Smart Cities Innovation Summit will take root in Austin. Members of the Intelligent World judging panel will be on hand to speak about smart lighting, intelligent mobility, and how data can inform city governance and infrastructure. GE will also have a booth set up to demo the Intelligent Environment data services and APIs.

You can attend the Smart Cities Expo for free by registering with code SCSVIP16. If you’re interested in the full conference program, register as a Government/Academic/Start-up for a discounted rate.

Can’t hop a jetplane to the heart of Dixie right now? Judge Dave Bartlett’s presentation on IoT for smart cities will also be livestreamed at http://livestream.com/accounts/18796115/smartcitiesATX.

Yeehaw!
